Short version: HelloTune doesn’t collect data about you or your audio.

Audio

HelloTune processes audio on your Mac in real time to change its volume, equalize it or route it to another device. Audio is never recorded, stored or transmitted.

What the app sends

License checks. When you activate a license, and about once a week afterwards, HelloTune sends your license key, an anonymous device ID (a one-way hash of your Mac’s hardware ID) and your Mac’s name to our payment provider Polar (Polar Software, Inc.) to confirm the license.
Update checks. Once a day HelloTune downloads a small update feed from hellotune.de. No personal data is included.

There are no analytics, no tracking and no advertising.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Polar as merchant of record. Polar processes your name, email address and payment details according to its own privacy policy. We receive your email address to support your license.

This website

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you visit it, your IP address and browser information are processed in server logs for technical operation. We don’t use cookies or analytics.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction or deletion of your data at any time. Contact: info@hellotune.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
